I really enjoyed reading this. I have a granddaughter in 7th grade and your writing reminds me how fraught so much of that age is with the drama of girls. I didn’t even develop until high school! I went to high school in girl’s clothing, no bust, 4’10” tall. I am now 5’4″ so you can see how behind I was. I am not sure I ever got over it entirely.
